A St.Louis native,Tim O’Neill began his career with a BFA in graphic design from Southwest Missouri State University. He moved to Kansas City in 1995 and worked in a variety of environments. He was a graphic designer, an interface designer, an animator, an illustrator, and of course an artisan designing and building custom objects. Tim was also an instructor at the Kansas City Art Institute, and served as the Interim Director of their school of design for a two year term.

Tim has been fortunate enough to work with and learn from a variety of highly skilled craftsmen, in variety of mediums. This diverse experience has provided a sturdy bed of knowledge in a number of areas.

Round Tree Design is the result of Tim pursuing his natural and active sense of curiosity.  Born from a love for drawing, the desire to build, and a keen eye for aesthetics, Round Tree Design is able to provide a unique service to clients both large and small - all the result of Tim's wide range of expertise and his ability to listen, investigate, and produce beautiful work.
